Sore throat and all, I am between packing my office and my kitchen and I am taking a few hours to blog about how much I love “The Rules!” and that I am finishing my final edits.
This weekend has been kinda scary! I went out to The Bruhs Boat Cruise, one last harrah before I had to pack for days…and so many people-that I did NOT know, recognized me!!…..Eeeekkkk…what is going on??…They were telling me that they followed me on Facebook, even Twitter(and you know that I dont have that many followers on twitter!)….and a ton of them were waiting on the book!! It was crazy!! I might have a fan or two!! *big old kool-aid smile*
Then I was editing my proof copy at my little sisters doctors appointment and I let this nurse(yep, she was of the Caucasian Persuasion) preview my messy copy because she liked the Cover…she LOVED the book and did not want to put it down when I left!!…She was reading, laughing and pointing!! She said that she needed that book!!
So I am sitting here, just excited about my book and the blessings that I am about to give birth to and I wanted to make sure to encourage any of my readers, Classy or not, Black or not, Girl or not…follow your dreams!! Following them will never disappoint you!!
