Privacy is Class

While sharing and relationships are the height of our human experience, some experiences are not for everyone.

I SHARE.

Some pictures, some times, some thoughts are for you and those closest to you not for all 1500 of your Facebook friends or even for your reality show.  There must be a certain level of integrity that follows us that people trust and know us for and a certain level of privacy is one of them.

I have always been private with my most personal of things such as my family, my personal relationships and my home.  These people and places are a sanctuary for me and most other people.  They are not for sale or for show.

There is a certain level of respect that we feel about people who keep their children protected (President Obama) and relationships private (Jay-Z and Beyonce)-and a certain level of disdain for people who parade their personal lives around for profit or grandstanding (Bobby and Whitney and the Kardashians).

There is no price tag for our personal experiences.  On the other hand there are those of us who give up our privacy for NO DOLLARS and a bit of Social Networking fame.  Remember how precious first moments of a relationship and new born pictures are?…what about the angry and sad moments in a family?…they are not for show.  Maintain your dignity and protect your privacy and private life with class and panache-by not discussing it with other people.

At least not the very personal things.
