What food with what wine?

People ask me all of the time about pairing food and wine and how to “do it.” I am the wine girl in my circle, but I have to stay that the most important part of pairing wine and food is that you truly like the combination yourself. Check out my pairings and an awesome benefit was that I was able to get everything at my local Lucky Supermarket!

Now that your family has enjoyed the finger foods it is time to sit down over some comfort food and wine!

Grilled Steak & wine sauce paired with White Merlot by Gallo

Grilled Steak is one of my favorite recipes. Steak is easy when you grill it and wine just makes it positively tasty! I like to eat my steak rather plain so that I can taste the juiciness of the meat and the red wine makes it divine! I actually tried a white Merlot for the first time by Gallo and I was pleasantly surprised! Check out my grilled steak recipe, since we already have the grill going-we might as well use it!

Country Ribs and Francis Coppola Zinfandel

The final course that I created for my family was my #FreshFinds favorite of the day. Country Ribs have such a rich and full-bodied flavor that I wanted to pair this food with Coppola’s Zinfandel. The Zinfandel varietal is usually sweet, strong and aromatic! In my opinion Zinfandel is actually like a party in your mouth-and is a perfect end to a food and wine celebration. Here is my recipe for perfect Country Ribs.
